THE WRITING CENTER: Think. Learn. Write.

Finals week is almost upon us!  Here in the Writing Center, we are busier than ever.   Because of the high volume of students coming to see us, make sure to make an appointment with TutorTrac!  Otherwise, there’s a chance we won’t be able to see you.

During finals week, the Writing Center will be taking appointments December 14 and 15.  However, we will be doing walk-ins only December 16 and 17!   Plan accordingly!

We can’t wait to see you in the Writing Center soon.

Club V.A.L.O.R. (Veterans and Loved Ones Resources) Toy Drive

Club V.A.L.O.R. (Veterans and Loved Ones Resources) is collaborating with the City of Eagan for a Toy Drive for Military Kids (please see attachments for more detailed information).  Many military units in Minnesota that have families are in need during the holiday season.  A donation box has been placed near the cafeteria so when you are out shopping during this holiday season – please give great consideration to donating to a great cause!

This year’s toy drive is dedicated to the Memory of L.Cpl. Daniel Olsen, a 2005 Eagan High School Graduate who was killed in Iraq on April 2, 2007.

If anyone wants to donate money for gifts, please stop by the Veteran Services Office or the VALOR Club table near the cafeteria.
