Wednesday, October 5th 10a-1p there will be a transfer rep available from Concordia University outside the Counseling & Advising Center

Wednesday, October 5th 9a-12p there will be a transfer rep available from Metro State outside the Counseling & Advising. Individual appointment slots available from 11a-12p. Sign up at the Counseling & Advising front desk

Thursday October 6th from 12:00-3:00 Transfer specialists from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities Office of Admissions and various U of M colleges will be at Inver Hills Community College this fall meeting with students to discuss transfer admission to the UMN-Twin Cities. Transfer specialists will also be able to answer detailed questions about their specific college. Learn about prerequisites and major requirements, transfer credit, transfer course selection, and much more!  By appointment only. Call 651.450.3508 or stop by the Counseling &Advising Center to schedule a time.

Public Comment on Inver Hills Community College

Inver Hills Community College is seeking comments from the public about the college in preparation for its periodic evaluation by its regional accrediting agency. The college will host a visit March 20–22, 2017, with a team representing the Higher Learning Commission. The team will review the institution’s ongoing ability to meet the Commissions’ Criteria for Accreditation.  Click here to view the official notice for public comment.

Go…to Student Success Day!

​Join us on Wednesday, September 28th for an all-day event dedicated to your success!  It’s a great way to experience campus life, meet faculty and attend workshops and sessions on many topics.  Student Success Day will help you succeed academically, personally, and professionally.  There’s free lunch and dinner too!

Check in starts at 8:30 a.m. in Heritage Hall; sessions begin at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 7:00 p.m.  There are no classes on September 28th until 7:00 pm.  Check with your instructor for more details.

Wisconsin HOPE Lab Survey

The college has partnered with Wisconsin HOPE Lab to raise awareness and increase knowledge of undergraduates struggling with food and housing insecurity.  This is your opportunity to help raise awareness, and fight hunger and housing insecurity.  Ten students from Inver Hills who complete the Hope Lab Survey will be selected at random to receive a $100 Visa gift card.
