| Calling all students! You are invited to participate in Inver Hills Community College’s and Dakota County Technical College’s Day of Service on Friday, October 1st! The annual Day of Service is a special occasion to join forces and volunteer virtually, on campus, or throughout Dakota County. You are encouraged to sign up with classmates, bring a family member along, or register individually. There are a variety of projects available including virtual opportunities and most last approximately 2-3 hours including: Bingo with Timber Hills residents Highway clean up Feed My Starving Children IHCC garden project Smithsonian transcribe-a-thon (virtual) Swing bridge park clean up And more! Registration is required and the deadline to sign up is Wednesday, September 22nd. After registration closes, be sure to watch for a detailed email regarding your project assignment, site location, and specific details for the day.
