Are finals and end-of-semester projects stressing you out? Come to one of our DeStress Week events to unwind, learn healthy stress management strategies or just grab some free food.
On Monday, December 6, we’re kicking off DeStress Week with free fidgets/pop-its, facial masks and shower steam tabs. Find our table on the first floor of the College Center by the doors closest to the Activities Building. Then at 1pm, join IHCC faculty Christine Petrich on Zoom (password: yoga) for some gentle vinyasa yoga and yoga nidra, or “sleep yoga”. This is for all abilities!
On Tuesday, December 7, stop by the Lounge on the first floor of the College Center for DIY salt scrub, mandala/meditative coloring and free food. We’ll be there from 11a – 2p. You’re welcome to stay and enjoy the activities or grab-n-go.
The same activities will be in the Lounge again on Wednesday, December 8 from 11a – 2p. Then, at 2p, join Phi Theta Kappa on the second floor of the Library to study and prep for finals. PTK will also have free food for you!
We’re wrapping up DeStress Week on Thursday, December 9 with a workshop on stress management techniques by our Inver Hills Counseling Department. The workshop is at 2p on Zoom.
