This discussion will explore the issues, opportunities, and possible consequences of the 2016 elections. The stakes are unusually high considering (1) the balance of power is up for grabs at the national level in all three branches of government and (2) there are fundamental disagreements within the citizenry in key areas of American policy (e.g. constitutional rights, immigration, and foreign relations). We will also consider recent polling data (and gut feelings!) to predict election outcomes in the Minnesota Legislature, U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, as well as the Presidency.
We hope that you will consider attending!
