Currently, Inver Hills DECA Club is seeking self-Nomination for DECA officers for 2020-2021 academic year.

Collegiate DECA offers an opportunity to Collegiate DECA’s Competitive Events Program allows students to put their experience, skills and knowledge to the test while representing their college or university. Students compete for top international honors in one of 25 different competitions. Collegiate DECA competitive events recognize student achievement, provide opportunities for traveling to conferences and networking with peers. The Collegiate DECA Competitive Events Program is recognized for helping to prepare students for their professional careers. Students are judged by business and industry professionals in all Collegiate DECA competitive events.

Due to COVID 19, we are scheduled for our weekly meetings via Zoom starting Tuesday, September 3rd, 1:00 PM. To attend our Zoom meetings, register in advance for this meeting sign up at: DECA Meeting Registration. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. 

If you are majoring in Business, Accounting, Technology, Computer Sciences, DECA can provide you ample opportunity to network with employers and test your skills.

1.) Qualify for Membership

Students who complete at least 12 college-level credits, earn a 3.5 semester GPA in at least one semester, and who maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 qualify for membership. If you are not sent an invitation to join contact

2.) Invitations Sent

Invitation emails and letters are sent to eligible students after the second week of fall and spring semester each year. The invitation will include instructions and your individual passcode needed to join.

3.) Join Online

Members pay a one-time membership fee and join using your passcode. If this fee is preventing you from joining instead apply for membership using our membership fee waiver application

4.) Induction and Get Involved!

We host an induction ceremony each semester. You must sign up to be inducted. Find out more by joining our meeting or take a look at our event calendar at
