President Candidate: Tim Smith

Why do you want to be an Executive Board Member for the IHCC Student Senate?

To highlight the intricacies of being a student in today’s world at the community college level. To be a voice for all students and to represent IHCC within the community.

What skills and experience do you have that would make you a good candidate for the position?

I have serves on a variety of boards and conventions in my career to speak for others.

Treasurer Candidate: Brandon Yates

Why do you want to be an Executive Board Member for the IHCC Student Senate?

Because I enjoy talking with students and working to represent them in the best way possible.

What skills and experience do you have that would make you a good candidate for the position?

2019 Fall Senator, 2020 Spring Treasurer/President (interim), extended experience working with others in team settings.

Director of Communications Candidate: Joshua Wilson

Why do you want to be an Executive Board Member for the IHCC Student Senate?

It would be a good way to communicate with more people along with being able to help the school.

What skills and experience do you have that would make you a good candidate for the position?

I have been manager for my track team in the past.

Elections will be held at the Student Senate Meeting on 4.30.20

PTK MEMBERSHIP PROCESS

1.) Qualify for Membership

Students who complete at least 12 college-level credits, earn a 3.5 semester GPA in at least one semester, and who maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 qualify for membership. If you are not sent an invitation to join contact ptk@inverhills.edu.

2.) Invitations Sent

Invitation emails and letters are sent to eligible students after the second week of fall and spring semester each year. The invitation will include instructions and your individual passcode needed to join.

3.) Join Online

Members pay a one-time membership fee and join using your passcode. If this fee is preventing you from joining instead apply for membership using our membership fee waiver application

4.) Induction and Get Involved!

We host an induction ceremony each semester. You must sign up to be inducted. Find out more by joining our meeting or take a look at our event calendar at inverhills.edu/ptk
