Unidos Club – Day of the Dead

Unidos Club main purpose is to be an agent for positive change and growth among the various ethnic groups at Inver Hills Community College. This awareness is cultivated through peer support, cultural activities, and community outreach projects.

Health Service is able to provide flu shots for 40 students who DO NOT have health insurance. These vaccines will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis as our supply is very limited. Please call 651-450-3524 to make an appointment for your flu shot if you qualify as non-insured. If you are uninsured and under the age of 18 years, you must bring a request for the vaccination signed by a parent or guardian.

All students who have health insurance should be able to get the vaccine without charge to them at either their regular health care provider or at retail clinics such as certain Target or CVS locations. Immunizations are mandated as included services for insurance providers by the Affordable Care Act.

Protect yourself this winter and get immunized for influenza as soon as possible!
