The Spring Semester 2018 Scholarship Application deadline is October 26, 2017. Scholarships of $500 – $2000 are available for Inver Hills students.

We have scholarships for students in Art, Business, Law Enforcement, Music, Nursing, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), Environmental Science, Agriculture as well as many general studies scholarships. We also have scholarships for new students, veterans and part-time students. A complete list of scholarships is on the application and online. Students fill out one application per semester to be considered for all available foundation scholarships. Students may be eligible to receive a scholarship each semester they attend. You just need to apply. This fall term more than 95 students received a total of $78,000 for their Inver Hills studies. You can apply again for spring semester if you got a fall scholarship.

The Inver Hills Foundation scholarship application can be found on the Inver Hills website. Applications are also available at the Welcome Center desk. There is a checklist on the application to help with all the required steps. Start gathering application file pieces now.

PTK MEMBERSHIP PROCESS

1.) Qualify for Membership

Students who complete at least 12 college-level credits, earn a 3.5 semester GPA in at least one semester, and who maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 qualify for membership. If you are not sent an invitation to join contact ptk@inverhills.edu.

2.) Invitations Sent

Invitation emails and letters are sent to eligible students after the second week of fall and spring semester each year. The invitation will include instructions and your individual passcode needed to join.

3.) Join Online

Members pay a one-time membership fee and join using your passcode. If this fee is preventing you from joining instead apply for membership using our membership fee waiver application

4.) Induction and Get Involved!

We host an induction ceremony each semester. You must sign up to be inducted. Find out more by joining our meeting or take a look at our event calendar at inverhills.edu/ptk
