Dear Student, Virtual Student Success Day is on Tuesday, February 8. This day is dedicated to YOU!  There will be zoom sessions throughout the day on a variety of topics to help you be successful in college and in your personal and professional life! All events are virtual except for Mental Health Matters and Grocery Bingo (see below). There are also pre-recorded videos that you can watch any time. For all details, registration, and full schedule of the day: https://www.inverhills.edu/ssd/. Registration is recommended, but not required.
Student Success Day

Some events of the day:

Keynote Presentation by Andy Stoll at 9 am and 5 pm: Life Lessons from a Trip Around the World
    Young Professionals of Color: Managing Stress & Anxiety during the Job Search & Transition into the Workplace by Dr. Michael Mason 11 am – 12:30 pm on zoom
    Mental Health Matters 11:30 – 11:55 am On campus – Heritage Hall Room 203
    Grocery Bingo and Food Pantry Open House 12 – 12:55 pm On campus – 2nd floor of College Center in Counseling and Advising area
    Yoga Nidra 12:30 – 12:55 pm on zoom  Battling the BLAHS 1 – 1:55 pm on zoom
    Disrupting Negative Thinking – Strategies for Reducing Worrying 3 – 3:55 pm on zoom

    PTK MEMBERSHIP PROCESS

    1.) Qualify for Membership

    Students who complete at least 12 college-level credits, earn a 3.5 semester GPA in at least one semester, and who maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 qualify for membership. If you are not sent an invitation to join contact ptk@inverhills.edu.

    2.) Invitations Sent

    Invitation emails and letters are sent to eligible students after the second week of fall and spring semester each year. The invitation will include instructions and your individual passcode needed to join.

    3.) Join Online

    Members pay a one-time membership fee and join using your passcode. If this fee is preventing you from joining instead apply for membership using our membership fee waiver application

    4.) Induction and Get Involved!

    We host an induction ceremony each semester. You must sign up to be inducted. Find out more by joining our meeting or take a look at our event calendar at inverhills.edu/ptk
